Aas paas ho na hai na mumkin

Farishtay humari judaii pe aansu bahaar rahe hai

Jo bhi hai mere dil mei wo hai tumhare liye

Ek saal mei hazaar dukh diye

Zinda rehna tho sirf majboori hai


Mei bas soch tha rehta hu

Kya Tum abhi bhi meray baare mei soch thi ho

Suna tumhare ghar mei bachi peda hui

Tho de tha hu mubaraak-baad 

Agar uski thori se bhi shakal ammi se mile

Uski khubsoorthi zinda-baad


Kasam khaatha hu nahi phela raha museebath

Or agar tumhare paas ho koi insaaniyath

Ye sawaal ka jawaab de


Mei bas soch tha rehta hu

Kya Tum kabhi kabhi meray baare mei soch thi ho

Jaantha hu jo humare beech mei tha

Wo gaya baahr mei

Tumhari zindagi mei daklan andaazi nahi kar raha

Bas jaana cha raha tha agar meri soorath dikhti hai tumhare dimagh mei…
